BT – Mercury & Solace (Helsloot Remix)

When (hearing) the name Brian Wayne Transeau (alias BT) most people will probably not see a light. The people who do know this man in the Netherlands will probably immediately think of one of the greatest Dutch dance classics of the noughties. Together with our own Tiësto, then with DJ for his name, Transeau is responsible for Love Comes Again where BT takes care of the vocals. Just like our compatriot from Breda, the American has been around for quite some time. Now the man from Maryland has one of his classics from the nineties and also one of his very first singles remixed by a compatriot of ours.

DJ and producer Thomas Helsloot has the honor of being able to take care of Mercury & Solace, the original of which dates from 1999. Unlike the original, Helsloot’s version is a lot slower but has a lot more melody in it. This variant also only lasts three and a half minutes where BT made the original song last more than seven and a half minutes. Which version are you going for: the original or this remix?
